New Market Street Road to Enhance Connectivity in Igbogbo Community
In a significant stride towards enhancing infrastructure and connectivity in Igbogbo, the Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA has successfully commissioned the Market Street Road. This pivotal project, aimed at bolstering the quality of roads and overall infrastructure in the area, also serves as a crucial alternative route ahead of the completion of the Obafemi Awolowo Road construction.
The commissioning ceremony, marked by a spirit of celebration and community unity, saw the Executive Chairman, Builder Olusesan Daini, extend gratitude to all stakeholders who graced the occasion. In his remarks, Chairman Daini underscored the commitment of the LCDA towards continuous development and pledged that more transformative projects would unfold in due time.
The presence of Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, APC Apex Leader in Igbogbo and esteemed member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, lent further credence to the significance of the occasion. Asiwaju Basorun commended Chairman Daini for his inclusive approach to governance, highlighting the importance of consistently engaging and carrying along political leaders. He urged aspiring leaders to emulate such leadership traits, emphasizing the need for transparency in presenting manifestos to articulate their intentions and vision for the community.
The commissioning event drew a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, including Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, the Chief Imam of Igbogbo, representatives from various religious and community groups such as the CAN president and the Isokan Group, as well as members of the Igbogbo/Baiyeku legislative arm, supervisors, council staff, and enthusiastic residents.
