Sesan Daini

Born in Lagos in 1980, into a family with a Methodist Church clergyman father and a reputable businesswoman mother, he has a diverse educational background, including a B.Sc in Building and a Master’s Degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos.

Having worked in both private and public sectors, including roles in South Africa, Daini’s political journey began as a politically active undergraduate. He held significant positions at the University of Lagos, becoming the Speaker of the House in 2003. A change maker, he served in various capacities in political committees and played a key role in founding political chapters in South Africa.

As the Managing Director of CARD International Investment Limited, a construction and maintenance firm in Lagos, Daini has demonstrated leadership in public service. He served as Supervisor for Agriculture, Rural Development, Natural Resources, and Youth Development of Igbogbo-Bayeku Local Council Development Area and held other notable roles in Lagos State’s environmental sector.

Daini actively participated in international conferences and training programs to enhance his professional and political skills. He is a member of several professional organizations and has been recognized as an inspiration and role model, particularly for the younger generation.

In the Local Government Elections in Lagos State, Daini was overwhelmingly voted for and elected as the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Bayeku Local Council Development Area. Known for his outspokenness, he also serves as the Public Relations Officer of Conference 57, representing chairpersons of local government areas and local council development areas in Lagos State.

Beyond his professional and political engagements, Daini enjoys playing table tennis and spends quality leisure time with his family and friends. He is regarded as a worthy and enviable Ambassador of Igbogbo Town and is happily married with children.
